SOULSKATING is a style of Roller Skating which has it's roots in the African-American/Black
culture, among others. It is enjoyed by many, and skate dance jams are
being held often in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, New Jersey, Detroit,
Atlanta, Cincinnati, dayton, Columbus, Baltimore, Richmond, and Washington
D.C. Soulskating has been around for 45 years
or so, skaters dancing to classic oldies, SOUL MUSIC from around the 1960's
and 1970's with a unique bounce and slide. It is still very popular, still
growing, and very much a part of today's recreational activities.
I am hoping that I can help introduce this wonderful type of SOULSKATING
to Japan, and want to open communication internationally for all avid dance
skaters.
